Well, this is the only picture I really took this week, so I guess it's the only note worthy thing I did.
This is Alvin Reid. He came to Crosspoint to speak for a luncheon. I heard him during a conference last February, and what he said rocked my world and stuck with me. So when I heard he was coming to Crosspoint I did everything in my power to hear him again. That may or may not have included skipping a class...
I did participate in one other noteworthy thing, which was getting my wisdom teeth removed.
Although I do have pictures of the chipmunk version of my face, I won't be posting those.
I'm a pretty bounce-back kind of person, but this recovery was and still is real rough.
Cognitively I know the end is near, but the it is no where in sight for me right now.
Here's to hoping it will come soon.
On the bright side, my mom/nurse/superwoman was a rock star. She didn't leave my side, and in all reality there is no way I would have made it through this weekend without her.
I wish everyone could have a mom like her.
I do not deserve to be that woman's daughter.
